Impressions Party Band Set List & Demos

Impressions Set List

How our set lists work

As you’ll see below, the Impressions have played a lot of songs! Of course we don’t play all of these on a regular basis and some have been one-off requests - but hopefully you get a flavour of what we do.

In January each year we select a pool of songs that we focus on for the year - maybe dropping some that we have played too often, reviving old favourites and definitely introducing new chart hits. When booking we are happy to supply you with our current songs and suggest that you don’t vary the set from these too much. The reason is simply that you will get a smoother, fully rehearsed show if we don’t make lots of changes.

The Impressions is a ‘generalist’ party band and offers something for everyone. Hence we don’t sell ourselves as a dedicated act such as ’80’s tribute band’ or a ’70’s disco band’. However, we definitely can emphasise any of the genres we play; so if you love the 80’s we can include extra songs from the big 80’s bands, if you love rock anthems we’ll be adding more Bon Jovi, Journey, Bryan Adams and so on.

Our pool of songs for 2017 will be available to download from here shortly.

Special Requests and First Dances

We are always happy to learn a special request such as your first dance or the birthday girl’s fave song ever! These do not have to be traditional choices - we have performed some pretty unusual songs as first dances including Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, and Alice Cooper’s ‘Poison’. All we ask is that you give us plenty of notice as the summer season in particular can be very busy.

I want to thank you for your wonderful performance at Annabel and Craig's wedding. Great choice of music - had everyone up and dancing and your version of "At Last" was brilliant. Many of the guests commented on how good you were and Annabel and Craig were thrilled.
